Youth Vocational Skills Training;
MOC will partner with community-based artisans to offer theoretical and practical vocation training to youth to gain skills for sustainable livelihoods. Youth will assess their own strengths, weaknesses, presenting opportunities and threats (SWOT) in their communities to inform their choice of vocation. They will gain skills in different aspects such as building, hair dressing, electronics, and dress making, hotel and catering and motor mechanics.
Mavambo Orphan Care train caregivers of vulnerable children in internal savings and lending (ISALs) and parenting concepts. ISALs is a holistic programming approach to increase low household income by providing people, primarily women, with income generating opportunities through access to self-managed savings-led financial services.
